The unique style of Escutia blends the orchestral tradition of Newman or Williams with the most avant-garde elecronic landscapes of Jóhannsson or Øhrn Dyrud. A must-known composer with exciting and evocative sounds that can offer new avenues in the world of the music for film and audiovisuals.
During his degree studies in Audiovisual Media he begins to create soundtracks for short films and documentaries. Later he studies the Master in Soundtracks and Music for Audiovisual Media, with teachers such as Lluís Vergés or Arnau Bataller. He continues making music for cinema and audiovisual studios and collaborating with composers such as the pianist Juan J. Ochoa. His work is focused in composition, but also in sound design, mixing, MIDI mockups and the creation of sound libraries.
